Can you imagine what it must be like to be an ant?

Problems that humanity deals with would seem irrelevant - the warming of the planet and all it's related consequences, the population explosion and the subsequent issues, including overcrowding and famine, the expansion of information, and the overwhelming perseverance of human violence. But there would be other problems - like the catastrophe of the appearance of an anteater or another predator animal. There would be tasks like to gather food. And there would be nothing but the colony and the queen.

Now imagine if an ant were to become a human. How difficult it would be to grapple with basic bodily functions, and the variety of emotions and chemical responses each action and reaction brings. Even humans must learn to walk - can you imagine if an ant tried to learn to be bipedal? I imagine it would be a task more monumental than for a human to enter space.

It's difficult to think outside your boundaries, no matter what you start as. Difficult to understand something or someone on a scale dimensions different than yours.

This is how I feel the Admiral sees us.

[PRIVATE to Ivy]

How would you feel about beehives in the greenhouse? I think they would benefit the plants greatly.

[PRIVATE to the ADMIRAL]

Would you permit beehives to be added to the greenhouse?

[PRIVATE to DRACULA]

I'm sorry that I killed you.

I wonder if the Admiral has ever chosen a warden or inmate incorrectly. Has there ever been a warden who was unkind and vicious? I'm well-aware that someone can be a good person while being unfriendly at some points, or narrow-minded, but I wonder. Likewise, has their ever been an inmate that was righteous and good?

And that inmates return as wardens... I wonder if all inmates upon graduation become this good. Is is capable for an inmate to graduate but not be permitted to warden after? Surely, there can be steps between a redeemed inmate and someone capable of being a warden.

As a side note, I'd like to politely request that all nonhumans, notably vampires, be treated in accordance with their actions and not their species.

Dracula, I haven't seen you in the greenhouse lately. Are you all right?

Buffy, how are you feeling?

[LOCKED to LUA]

I'd like to discuss something with you.

[LOCKED to MCCOY]

If we could speak regarding my inmate.

[Observe: one VERY affected Castiel. That usually passive face? A sulk. The epic sulk of a teenager who hasn't gotten what he wanted, as a matter of fact.]

Okay, look, boat.

Here's something that like, ticks me off. A lot. Seriously, a super lot.

Everyone just buys the whole multidimensional boat thing. That's totally sensible! Like, makes absolutely perfect sense! Seriously! No one ever like, questions this? I mean, to makes perfect sense. But I'm a cosmic being. Millenia old. Could squash you all like bugs. So this kind of thing, it's like, you know, whatever.

But! The fact that I'm an angel - oh, that's the unlikely part. Come on, really?! You can suspend your middling human disbelief in, like, "multidimensional boat" but "messenger of God" is what gets you? Seriously, how does that even make any sense? Half of you already believe in God! So believing in me should be easy! But no, not for me. I have to prove myself. And then half of you don't believe me anyway!

None of you understand me.

[This angel looks very confused. Also, he has the bedhead of someone whose slept on his side for a week.]

I.....slept?
