I wonder if the Admiral has ever chosen a warden or inmate incorrectly. Has there ever been a warden who was unkind and vicious? I'm well-aware that someone can be a good person while being unfriendly at some points, or narrow-minded, but I wonder. Likewise, has their ever been an inmate that was righteous and good?

And that inmates return as wardens... I wonder if all inmates upon graduation become this good. Is is capable for an inmate to graduate but not be permitted to warden after? Surely, there can be steps between a redeemed inmate and someone capable of being a warden.

As a side note, I'd like to politely request that all nonhumans, notably vampires, be treated in accordance with their actions and not their species.

You're assuming the Admiral is some kind of stand-in for your God. Like there's a plan here or some kind of requirements.

Wardens and inmates can't be chosen incorrectly - he chooses them because he wants them, plain and simple. There's no good here, there's no evil, there's just people cast in roles. It doesn't matter what we think.

I don't, and will not, and will never under any circumstances consider any other creature my Father.

It simply seems to be that one must have certain qualities to be a warden, and others to be an inmate. I wonder if the Admiral sometimes picks those who do not qualify to fit into roles that may not be adequate.

One should have certain qualities. Doesn't always look like they do. See: filling roles, not fitting types.

Because he can. That's why they all do it: Because they can.

Anything or anyone powerful enough to dick around with other people's lives like this.

He does great help with his interference, for the wardens and inmates alike.

No, we do great help for ourselves. Or we don't. Which is pretty standard, after all, no matter who it is pulling the strings.

And of the rewards he promised?

Funny story - no one I'm aware of really seems to know if we get them at all. It's all pretty mysterious, far as I can tell.

I can assure you there is heaven, if that's what you infer to.

And yet after a lifetime of hanging around supernatural douchewads, it took me a trip to a prison ship in outer space and time for me to meet a goddamn angel, and you've still got no proof for me about any of these "rewards" for people who are good enough.

Must I? Because as far as I can see, the only good things that happen are the things people make happen for themselves.

I didn't say I don't believe it doesn't have any merit. I said there's no proof that it does.
