Here's something that like, ticks me off. A lot. Seriously, a super lot.

Everyone just buys the whole multidimensional boat thing. That's totally sensible! Like, makes absolutely perfect sense! Seriously! No one ever like, questions this? I mean, to makes perfect sense. But I'm a cosmic being. Millenia old. Could squash you all like bugs. So this kind of thing, it's like, you know, whatever.

But! The fact that I'm an angel - oh, that's the unlikely part. Come on, really?! You can suspend your middling human disbelief in, like, "multidimensional boat" but "messenger of God" is what gets you? Seriously, how does that even make any sense? Half of you already believe in God! So believing in me should be easy! But no, not for me. I have to prove myself. And then half of you don't believe me anyway!

None of you understand me.

I am not human. And for your information, I "buy" the existence of a multidimensional ship because I own a multidimensional ship myself. For that matter, there's not a single thing I've seen the Admiral do that the Time Lords are not quite capable of replicating, from interdimensional travel to resurrection.

I accept that you're a cosmic being, millennia old. But that description could also be applied to my old colleague Chancellor Valyes and he was a complete bore. Age and origin do not impress me.

I could also accept that you possess some extraordinary abilities, similar to an Eternal or a Guardian. But these are understood within the realm of science. I do not accept that you are a supernatural being serving a supernatural god. A powerful alien, perhaps, but there's nothing divine or angelic about that. Dupe the apes if you like, but I'm not fooled.

But why? Why can't you accept that, you know, in a theoretically endless number of universes, God exists. And his messengers. And his enemies. It is at least, you know, a possibility. I'm just saying, you know, it seems stupid to automatically rule the supernatural out. Science is great, don't get me wrong. I love science. And the jumps humanity and other species have made it in awes me.

What can I do to prove to you that I am what I say I am? What can I do to prove to you my father made me as I am? WHy will you not believe me? Will you continually assume that I maintain this imagine to deceive? Have you no faith?

Other universes--or my universe at different stages of its existence--may have different scientific rules, but there are still rules.

Besides, a god that's limited to just one paltry reality isn't much of an all-powerful being, now is he?

What God decides to be or show isn't up to me. Duh.

I'd really rather you didn't. In my culture religion is associated with tyranny. I've no issue if others want to indulge, but I'd rather it not be directed at me.

If you don't believe in religion, God or angels, why does it bother you what I pray for?

In Gallifrey's distant past, religion was a system of tyranny and prayer and curses tools of oppression. I don't believe your prayers will have any affect on me, and if you prayed for me without my knowing I could hardly stop you. But if you insist on telling me that you plan to pray for me, expect me to dislike the idea.

But, you know, I'm not praying from your religion. My religion isn't for that, even though it's sometimes, like, misused. My religion desires for you to be loved and love, and stuff.
