Hello, this is Castiel.

I presume my vessel's change in gender is due to the flood, as a number of others seem to also experienced such changes. I would've figured more people would be more surprised, as gender seems to be an important element in one's identity.

Does anyone know when things will return to as they were?

Usually, we're both male. Your mind has been affected as part of the flood to think that this is the status quo.
