LAST VOYAGES: CR
✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞
DEAN WINCHESTER
No matter what Dean remembers, Castiel is still intensely passionate about him. Dean changed him at his very core, taught him what was right, showed him how to go about one's life and make one's decisions - even if he hasn't actually done it yet. For that, Castiel will always have two eyes on Dean, simply to make sure he's safe. It's painful to know that Dean distrusts him, but after all the terrible choices he made, how could he not?

WANDA MAXIMOFF
If there's anyone who can understand a crisis of faith, it's Castiel, and watching Wanda struggle despite everything makes her admire her not just for her strength, but for the resiliency she displays. There's someone kind and caring under that scowl, and Castiel wonders if a little bit of faith (in anything, but preferably God), might help. He wishes that the Barge had hurt her less, because the Bare in concept seems perfect for her, to him.

COUNT VLADISLAUS DRACULA
There's no one prouder of Dracula than Castiel. Dracula's understanding of faith, and his graduation and return gives Castiel hope for himself and hope for anyone who is stuck in the darkness and needs to find their way out. If a vampire with dark spot on his soul can do it, an angel composed of divine energy should be able to..... right?
✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞
AGENT K
Calm under fire, confident when under attack, rational and analytical in peacetime - Kay is the ideal general and the garrison leader Castiel wants. As a soldier at heart, Castiel falls easily into obeying someone who is confident with their orders, respectful of those around him, and seems to have good intentions. Kay’s passion in doing right is obviously the force behind his military bearing, and that’s to be admired.
✞ ✞ ✞ ✞
LUA KLEIN
While he has some friction with Lua for her attempts to help Richie without telling him, he understands that what she dos, she does for the good of his inmate. Lua seems kind and thoughtful, if a bit helpless and confused. He wonders about why she is an inmate, though he’s too polite to ask - and thinks maybe a little faith in herself and her world, and hope in an angel trying to be a good person, would help her out.
✞ ✞ ✞ ✞
CHRONORMU
No matter how kind and thoughtful "Chromie" appears, Castiel is keeping an eye on a being with that much destructive potential. Though her difference from most dragons - quiet, desiring a hoard of books more than a hoard of gold, and an apparent attempt at wardening, even with no inmates - has lead to his opinion to soften on her some.
✞ ✞ ✞ ✞
ARKADY
While obviously human, Arkady's distinct perspective on humanity (most likely due to this mysterious power she possesses) makes her so much more understandable in Castiel's eyes. Despite her power, she's kind and optimistic and seemingly against using a heavy hand, and her fondness of drinks and animals makes her almost an unfailingly good human in the angel's eyes.
✞ ✞ ✞ ✞
JESSE PINKMAN
For all the addiction and rage and involvement in Richie’s murder, Jesse has a good person under there. His attempts despite failures to be better are obvious evidence of this, and furthered even more along by his kindness towards children and attempts to help others. While it’s difficult for Castiel to understand the nature of the man’s vices, he’s still willing to help despite an inability to get to the bottom of the problem.
✞ ✞ ✞
MEGAMIND
Never has Castiel been convinced that someone is a good person more than Megamind. Everything points that way: his obvious, intentioned ignorance of pure evil; his belief that the only way he can succeed is to be bad; his habit of dropping conversations at precisely the right moment. What Megamind needs more than anything is someone to be kind to him for the sake of being kind, and Castiel is trying very hard to be just that.
✞ ✞ ✞
THE MARQUIS DE SADE
Although Castiel was already familiar with the Marquis' catalog and the fact that he was a disbeliever, he did not expect him to be so persistent, offensive, and generally insufferable. Not only does the Marquis make him doubt, he also violates the angel's privacy and sensibilities. While Castiel can't deny healthy debate, he'd prefer it with slightly less pointed edges (and someone at least humorously sexually interested in him). Someone to stay away from, for sure.
✞
ARTHAS MENETHIL
A sniveling, disrespectful creature close enough to a demon that Castiel hates him on an instinctual level. Add in the fact that Arthas disrespected both his vessel and himself, and his obnoxious presumptions - well, he wouldn't mind accidentally smiting Arthas straight to the Pit.
